The Science Survival Academy is a media content creation company that produces videos, webinars, courses, certificate programs, books, and other media to help researchers conduct and publish better research. It started in 2016 as a consulting platform and later evolved into a crowd-supported media producer.

The Academy is dedicated to supporting four aspects of research: a) the institutions in which research is conducted; b) the people who conduct research; c) the dissertations and theses that represent graduate students’ first attempts at research; and d) the scholarly writing that disseminates research findings to the world. The Academy places no restrictions on who may join, especially regarding institutional positions held, institutions of higher education attended, degrees attained, student status, or research conducted. Anyone interested in science and how research is conducted is welcome and encouraged to join and participate.

The Science Survival Academy is led by a President who oversees all matters related to the Academy’s operations, including media content creation, the Academy’s rules, Fellows Council membership, and future directions. The Fellows Council, comprised of Fellows of the Academy, advise the President on these matters and help shape the Academy’s content.

Academy Fellows are researchers who are dedicated to further the Academy’s mission of helping researchers produce better research. They are typically university professors with extensive experience conducting research, reviewing articles for journals, teaching research, and chairing dissertations and theses. Together, they comprise the Fellows Council, a group that advises the President on all matters related to the Academy’s media content and other offerings. The Academy’s President personally nominates and selects researchers to serve as Fellows of the Academy based on merit, commitment to science, and a willingness to selflessly share knowledge and experience with others.
